Our texture analysis services for muffins focus on evaluating firmness and springiness—two key indicators of product quality and freshness. Firmness is measured by assessing the force required to compress the muffin to a specific depth. After a brief holding period, the residual force is recorded and compared to the initial force to calculate springiness (or elasticity). 

This ratio reflects the muffin’s ability to recover its shape, providing valuable insights into its structural integrity and shelf life.
